The brief: Help a first-time gallery owner turn a clear visual idea into a practical shopfront scheme.
Custom colour: 10mm Foamex lettering was sprayed in the owner’s chosen blue to contrast with the white fascia.
Street visibility: A coordinating projecting sign presents the gallery name to people approaching along the street.
Lighting advice: A trough light was recommended in place of backlighting during discussions about the conservation-area setting.
Beyond the launch: Further window-display print, pavement signs and leaflets supported the gallery as its exhibitions and displays changed.
How was the gallery’s lettering colour matched?
The 10mm Foamex letters were sprayed in the customer’s chosen colour. This gave the fascia a dimensional finish while retaining the specific blue in the gallery’s identity.
