The project at a glance.
The brief: Make the practice easier to identify behind its hedge line, then carry the same identity through to reception.
Roadside positioning: The entrance sign was positioned and angled for traffic approaching from both directions along Langley Road.
Exterior materials: Printed and laminated aluminium composite panels carry the practice identity across the exterior sign locations.
Reception finish: Cut aluminium composite letters with a gold vinyl face create the internal reception feature.
Design to installation: Sightlines, mounting surfaces and viewing distances were assessed before manufacture and installation.
How was the roadside sign positioned?
The practice sits back behind a mature hedge. The sign’s angle and contrasting face were chosen to help people recognise the entrance from either direction of travel.
